With over 30 years of combined Public Service and Senior Consultant experience, Gerald Jodoin has engaged with and provided expert human resources advice, services and support to senior government officials up to and including Deputy Ministers, Assistant and Associate Deputy Ministers, Directors General and Directors.
Gerry’s human resources expertise stems from his Public Service (PS) accreditation credentials in classification and organizational design, staffing and labour relations. He has successfully passed a number of PS exams such as the university equivalence test (GIT 310) and the staffing AFKT exam. As a successful HR consultant under his own firm, Gerald has successfully satisfied statement of requirements for well over 200 clients from simple recruitment exercises to complicated and politically sensitive development and implementation of new classification standards for locally engaged staff in Canadian embassies using the Hay Plan as a base.
Gerald Jodoin brings a wealth of experience and training to the forefront of his work and has developed training courses in all disciplines and has successfully mentored departmental human resources advisors to achieve their respective accreditation criteria. He has conducted a number of investigations from wrongdoing in the workplace to investigations on alleged harassment in the workplace and prepared in-depth reports with recommendations to senior managers. Gerald has also provided training for the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) to a variety of government departments.
Gerald Jodoin is a sports enthusiast participating in the Terry Fox Run for cancer research and the Children’s Wish Foundation. Gerald Jodoin is also a Certified Professional Coach offering his services in life coaching, aging, fitness, transitions and wellness.
As well as running his own successful consulting practice, Gerald joined the tap Strategy and HR Consulting team as a Sr. Associate in 2014.
