HR Specialist Role Summary
As a project lead or in collaboration with the Senior Partners and/or other members of the team, the HR Specialist is responsible for performing HR Consulting, HR-based and L&D responsibilities of various complexities, along with participation in new business development activities.

Liaise with clients and partners as needed. Attend client meetings and/or presentations virtually or in-person

Some travel, mainly in and around the National Capital/Ottawa, and Toronto regions

Lead, support, and/or assist project work

Perform outreach to clients and potential clients for business development

Develop or assist in the development of tools, templates, guidelines and processes

Provide direct telephone service to clients through the TAP Strategy HR TAPhelpline (we are not a call center)

Research and write reports

Demonstrate a strong work ethic and teamwork approach
What you need to have:

Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience
-
Bilingualism (French & English)
-
Strong and extensive knowledge of up-to-date human resources practices, trends, and national and provincial workplace and employment legislation

Demonstrated experience in:
-
Developing Human Resources programs and related guidelines, tools, and templates, such as performance management and development programs, competency architectures/frameworks, recruitment/talent acquisition, job description writing, among others

Facilitating and developing presentations, workshops, and programs
-

You have an HR designation (CHRL, CHRP)

You have a BA or other relevant degree

Relevant education, certifications, and experience

Demonstrated experience in:

Performing organizational reviews, encompassing concepts of organizational design and development

Providing high-level advice and guidance for complex issues for best risk mitigation

HR and governance policy and report writing
